The easy to apply aerosol contains no CFCs and unlike other aerosols it is designed to be used upside down - aiding directing the mist into those hard to reach places. The pyrethrins will kill emerging adult fleas while the precor will provide 12 months protection from the developing eggs and larvae. Once fleas are apparent on your pet there is already an infestation of many of these pre-adult stage fleas in the environment, obviously these are not affected by the treatment applied to the animal, so the environment must also be treated to eliminate them. The majority of developing fleas are found in pet bedding, carpets, uphosltery and cracks and crevices in the floor in any area where the pet has access. Two types available:- Standard - Will treat upto 36 meters square. Contains - 0.023% w/w s-methoprene and 0.24% w/w tetramethrin Maxi - Will treat upto 140 meters square. Contains - 0.09% w/w s-methoprene and 0.58 w/w permethrin
