The Natural Wave is a multi-cycle aquarium pump timer. When used with powerheads (ideally MaxiJets), the water flows in alternate cycles, which stimulates corals and avoids stagnant areas forming. It has three timed outlets, two can be set from 20 seconds to 3 minutes and one can be set from 40 seconds to 6 minutes. The fourth is a standard outlet.

Natural Wave avoids stagnant areas forming, where waste may accumulate and cause pollution of the water. Suspended sediment is more readily removed by the filtering system. The water flow and alternate cycles help prevent invertebrates being covered by excess mucus, and facilitate the capture of suspended food.
