The African Grey is certainly the most widely known parrot of all. Famed for centuries for its unparalleled ability to faithfully imitate human speech, it is no surprise that the African Grey has a long history of being kept as a pet. Less familiar, however, is the resume of captive breedings of this species assembled here by Dr. Mulawaka. This information, coupled with existing ornithological data, provides a composite profile of the African Grey - the resulting compilation will interest aviculturists, pet lovers and natural history buffs.
